This release continues the distillery’s groundbreaking use of bespoke French Virgin Oak casks—crafted exclusively from oak harvested in the historic forests of Thiron-Gardais, France. Matured in these rare casks and married with whisky from first fill bourbon barrels and rejuvenated red wine barriques, it creates a complex and layered malt of unparalleled character.

Lindores Abbey
Lindores Abbey Distillery, established in 2017 on the historic grounds of Lindores Abbey in Newburgh, Fife, Scotland, honors the site of the first written reference to whisky distillation in the country. Initiated in 2013, the project thoughtfully rebuilt the distillery, opening its Visitor Centre and commencing distillation in 2017. Lindores Abbey Distillery is set to release its inaugural single malt Scotch whisky in Summer 2021, featuring both commemorative bottlings and standard releases. Embracing Scotland’s rich whisky heritage, Lindores Abbey Distillery attracts enthusiasts seeking authentic and historically significant whiskies.
