Tasting Notes

Nose: Elegant, soft, mellow vanilla, caramel notes playing with orchard fruits and sweet pear drops. Reminiscent of toffee apples. Taste: Smooth with a creamy texture and a perfect balance of mellow vanilla, dried fruits, citrus touches with a hint of spicy notes and a pleasant lingering finish. Finish: Medium length, delicate lingering finish.

The Distillery

Lindores Abbey Distillery, established in 2017 on the historic grounds of Lindores Abbey in Newburgh, Fife, Scotland, honors the site of the first written reference to whisky distillation in the country. Initiated in 2013, the project thoughtfully rebuilt the distillery, opening its Visitor Centre and commencing distillation in 2017. Lindores Abbey Distillery is set to release its inaugural single malt Scotch whisky in Summer 2021, featuring both commemorative bottlings and standard releases. Embracing Scotland’s rich whisky heritage, Lindores Abbey Distillery attracts enthusiasts seeking authentic and historically significant whiskies.
