To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Douglas Laing, the specialist whisky blenders and bottlers.
This is the second of a series of six bottlings - to celebrate each of the firms six decades. The second release is a 21 year old Laphroaig (sherry finish) presented in a special gold embossed wooden box. The bottle and packaging are simply stunning.
214 numbered bottles. Laphroaig Laphroaig Distillery was established in 1815 on the rocky south coast of the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland. Laphroaig is a malt whisky distillery which continues to malt barley using its traditional malting floors and malt kiln. In 1994 Laphroaig was awarded the Royal Warrant. Visitors are welcomed at the Laphroaig Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available. Laphroaig Distillery participates in Feis Ile, the Islay Festival of Malt and Music. No tasting notes at present.
