A single Coffey Still was increased to three in 1963 and an additional and much larger column still was introduced in 1978 in order to produce neutral spirit. Ben Wyvis malt distillery was built in its grounds in 1965 although it closed in 1976 and was demolished in 1977.

Palate: Velvety & sweetly spiced, carrying a soft, chewy caramel character + vanilla pods.
Finish: Medium long but very more-ish with milk chocolate and soft vanilla tablet.
