TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: Aromas of dried fruits, particularly raisins and figs, mingle with rich dark chocolate. Subtle hints of smoky peat and heather honey add depth and complexity, with a delicate overlay of warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: The palate reveals a luxurious interplay of sherry sweetness and rich fruit flavors, including notes of toffee, dates, and sultanas. Gentle oak influences provide structure and balance, accompanied by a touch of vanilla and caramel. Underlying smokiness is complemented by a whisper of maritime saltiness, characteristic of the Orkney influence.
Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering warmth of sherry-soaked fruit and gentle spice. Soft smoky undertones and a hint of sea salt create a beautifully balanced and memorable conclusion.
