Sweet citrus notes are followed by rich fruitcake and butterscotch. Cinnamon and ginger spice complement subtle liquorice and oak. Smooth tobacco flavours give way to rich raisins and subtle white pepper. Stewed fruits combine with walnut and plum. A long finish with roasted nuts and fresh garden mint.

Only 266 hand-blown crystal decanters were created, showcasing the pinnacle of long-aged Speyside craftsmanship.

The Distillery

Glenlivet Distillery, founded by George Smith in 1859 after outgrowing his original distillery at Upper Drumin, was established at Minore just upstream of the River Livet in Scotland’s prestigious Speyside whisky region.
