Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh baked apple and honeyed malt lead to rich raisin bread, orange marmalade and a hint of polished oak. Palate: Silky waves of toffee fudge, fig jam and sweet malt glide across the tongue, followed by clove-spiced chocolate, roasted hazelnut and a lift of citrus peel. Finish: Medium-long and warming—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, mellow oak tannin and a final flourish of vanilla-malt sweetness.
Explore a richly sherried twist on Speyside finesse with Glendullan 15 Year Old – 2009 Vintage, Signatory Cask Strength. Initially matured in bourbon wood, the whisky was transferred to a 1st-fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead (Cask #10) for its final years, before bottling at natural cask strength in April 2025. Only 344 individually numbered bottles were produced—unchill-filtered and natural in colour—showcasing Glendullan’s crisp orchard-fruit core wrapped in decadent layers of dark fruit, toffee and warming spice.

Why We Think You’ll Love It:

  • Finished in a vibrant 1st-fill Oloroso hogshead, layering opulent dried-fruit depth and spice over Glendullan’s orchard brightness.

  • 15 years of maturation achieve harmony between youthful freshness and sherry-driven richness.

  • Bottled at natural cask strength—non-chill-filtered and natural colour—for full texture, aroma and intensity.

  • Limited to just 344 bottles, making it a prized find for collectors and sherried-malt aficionados.

Savour this small-batch Glendullan for a captivating union of Highland fruit and sumptuous Oloroso character—an unforgettable dram from first nose to lingering finish.

The Distillery

Glendullan
Glendullan Distillery, originally established in 1897 by William Williams of Aberdeen on the banks of the River Fiddich in Scotland’s prestigious Speyside whisky region, was founded to produce high-quality Speyside malt whisky for his scotch blending business. In 1972, a new distillery was constructed nearby, allowing both the original and new GlenDullan facilities to continue producing exceptional malt whisky until the original distillery closed in 1985. The historic GlenDullan retains its iconic pagoda roof and is now repurposed by Diageo for warehousing and workshopoperations. Today, the majority of GlenDullan’s malt whisky is seamlessly integrated into renowned blends such as Dewar’s, Bell’s, and Johnnie Walker, highlighting GlenDullan’s significant contribution to the global scotch whiskyindustry. While official distillery releases are limited, Glendullan remains a celebrated name among whisky enthusiasts and collectors, underscoring its enduring legacy and pivotal role in Scotland’s esteemed whisky heritage.
