Distilled on 30th April 1973, this exceptional whisky was patiently matured in a single refill Sherry hogshead (#85026801) for nearly five decades before being bottled on 10th January 2023 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Private Collection – Lost Distilleries Recollection Series #2. Only 170 hand-blown crystal decanters were released, making this a rare and collectible relic from a vanished era of Scotch whisky.
