Glen Grant 37 Year Old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Single sherry cask #7646 bottled 2012 for the award winning Berry Brothers & Rudd range. Glen Grant Glen Grant Distillery is a Speyside malt whisky distillery situated in Rothes.  Established in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant, the business prospered and in 1897 Glen Grant No. 2 distillery was established across the road in order to meet the high demand for Glen Grant whisky. During the late nineteenth century a Victorian garden was laid out in the valley behind the distillery and is now open to distillery visitors. Glen Grant Distillery has a visitor centre and offers distillery tours. Glen Grant Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Drived fruit aromas abound with prevailing orange peel and coffee grounds. The palate gives rich bursts of citrus as the flavours swell to give teasing performance from the fruit, nut and coffee section. This is as graceful a classic old Speysider as one is likely to find and remarkably lively given its 37 years in the cask.

The Distillery

Glen Grant
Glen Grant Distillery, founded in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant, experienced such success that Glen Grant No. 2 was constructed across the road in 1897 to meet soaring demand for its Speyside malt whisky. Situated in Rothes and equipped with eight stills plus an on-site bottling plant, Glen Grant remains a cornerstone of Scottish whisky craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a meticulously maintained Victorian garden—created during the late 19th century—nestled in the valley behind the distillery. Over the years, Gordon & MacPhail has released exceptional vintage single malts from Glen Grant, including rarities dating back to the 1950s, underscoring the distillery’s enduring legacy and timeless appeal.
