Tasting Notes
Aroma: Sweet Sherry aromas mingle with brown sugar, orange, and cinnamon. Creamy vanilla custard notes combine with milk chocolate. Taste: Sweet initially with a peppery notes. Stewed fruit flavours lead to a fresh orange marmalade and hints of ground coffee. Charred oak is accompanied by a grapefruit edge on the finish.
Glen Grant 2005 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in first fill Sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels bottled 2017 by Gordon & MacPahil for the Distillery Labels series.

Glen Grant Distillery, founded in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant, experienced such success that Glen Grant No. 2 was constructed across the road in 1897 to meet soaring demand for its Speyside malt whisky. Situated in Rothes and equipped with eight stills plus an on-site bottling plant, Glen Grant remains a cornerstone of Scottish whisky craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a meticulously maintained Victorian garden—created during the late 19th century—nestled in the valley behind the distillery. Over the years, Gordon & MacPhail has released exceptional vintage single malts from Glen Grant, including rarities dating back to the 1950s, underscoring the distillery’s enduring legacy and timeless appeal.
