Tasting Notes

TWB Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich and complex aromas of dark dried fruits such as raisins, figs, and dates dominate the nose. These are complemented by notes of sweet Oloroso sherry, toasted almonds, and hints of dark chocolate and espresso. Subtle undertones of spiced orange peel and vanilla add depth.

Palate: A full-bodied and luxurious palate reveals layers of sweet sherry influence. Flavors of caramelized brown sugar, ripe plums, and black cherries intertwine with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. The oak imparts notes of polished wood and a touch of leather, enhancing the whisky's complexity.

Finish: The finish is exceptionally long and warming, with lingering notes of sweet dried fruits, gentle spices, and a delicate hint of smoky oak. The rich sweetness from the first fill Oloroso sherry cask leaves a lasting impression of elegance and depth.
