Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet - brandy snaps and peanut brittle. Nutty and aldehydic - sugared almonds and pistachios.
Taste: Deep underlying honeycomb. Delivers those big orchard fruit notes that Sauternes has in its armoury - stewed apricots, raisins and apple strudel. Dusted with brown sugars, which should offer some satisfaction. An oasis of spices towards the end – pepper definitely; maybe cinnamon. Nicely poised.
