Glen Albyn 43 Year Old 1979 Private Collection (2023) is an extraordinarily rare Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the long-lost Glen Albyn Distillery, which closed in 1983. Distilled on 19th September 1979, this exquisite whisky matured for over four decades in a single refill Sherry puncheon (#3857) and was bottled on 9th January 2023 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Private Collection – Lost Distilleries Recollection Series #2. Only 95 hand-blown crystal decanters were produced, making this a truly limited and collectible piece of Scotland’s whisky heritage.
