TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose greets you with a powerful burst of smoky peat, intertwined with sweet vanilla and caramel from the bourbon casks. Dried fruits, especially raisins and sultanas, hint at the subtle sherry influence. Maritime notes of brine and sea salt add a unique coastal character, complemented by hints of toasted oak and earthy moss.
Palate: On the palate, an initial wave of intense peat smoke is beautifully balanced by a rich, creamy texture. Sweet flavors of caramel and butterscotch from the bourbon casks are enhanced by the fruity richness of the sherry casks, creating a complex and satisfying taste experience.
Finish: The finish is long and warming, with lingering peat smoke and a touch of sweetness. Notes of vanilla, dried fruits, and a hint of spice leave a lasting impression, making each sip memorable.
