Tasting Notes

A Neapolitan phrase that we love is fitting here - ‘nu babbà’ - which alludes to a timeless beauty and elegant charm. The nose is a fusion of dried fruits and bitter almonds, almond paste to be precise, the sort that adorns the desserts in southern Italy, the sort that you fall in love with at first taste. Our nose and mouth are warmly greeted by this rum, filled with rich, opulent flavours. On the palate, the flavours branch off in two directions, sweet and savoury, but they remain in perfect balance, with various lacquer notes alongside hints of freshly planed wood. Ultimately, we are conquered by the elegance, the notable charm reminiscent of its Speyside parents.
