Embrace the vinous side of Pitlochry’s “little gem” with Edradour 12 Year Old – 2012 Vintage, Bordeaux Cask Matured (Small Batch). Distilled in 2012 and fully aged in first-fill Bordeaux hogsheads, this Highland single malt was bottled in March 2025 to showcase Edradour’s rich, malty spirit wrapped in luscious red-wine tones. Unchill-filtered and natural in colour, this limited small-batch release offers an indulgent fusion of dark-berry fruit, soft tannin and classic Edradour honey-toffee depth.

Why We Think You’ll Love It:

  • Fully matured in 1st-fill Bordeaux hogsheads, marrying Edradour’s sweet malt with vibrant red-fruit richness.

  • 12 years of ageing strike the perfect balance between youthful energy and developed wine-cask complexity.

  • Bottled non-chill-filtered and at natural colour, preserving full texture, aroma and flavour integrity.

  • Limited small-batch release—ideal for collectors and wine-cask aficionados seeking a decadent twist on classic Highland character.

Indulge in this Bordeaux-kissed Edradour for a Highland dram where orchard sweetness meets vinous opulence in every sip.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bursts of blackcurrant compôte, strawberry jam and a hint of rose petal drift above toffee fudge, toasted oak and a gentle Highland heather note. Palate: Silky layers of raspberry coulis, vanilla cream and honeyed malt glide across the tongue, followed by hints of dark chocolate, cinnamon stick and a pleasant wine-tannin grip. Finish: Medium-long and warming—lingering red-berry sweetness, soft oak spice and a final whisper of creamy caramel.
