Edradour 12 Year Old 2011 Barbaresco Casks is a rich and deeply fruity Highland single malt Scotch whisky, crafted at the iconic Edradour Distillery. Distilled in 2011 and matured in eight first fill Barbaresco hogsheads (#51–58), this distinctive release was bottled in July 2023, yielding 2,921 bottles. This expression also marks the evolution of Edradour’s wine cask programme, effectively replacing the now-discontinued and highly regarded SFTC (Straight From The Cask) series.
Barbaresco wine casks from Italy’s Piedmont region bring luxurious layers of red berries, dark cherries, and soft tannins to Edradour’s famously rich and oily spirit. The result is a beautifully balanced Highland malt where sweet wine influence, warming spice, and malt depth combine in a bold and indulgent whisky experience.
