The Singleton of Spey Cascade Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Smooth rich and perfectly balanced with notes of brown sugar, toasted nuts and baked autumn fruits.
Dufftown Distillery was established in 1895 on the site of Pittyvaich corn mill on the Dullan Water just to the south of Dufftown and in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. Despite a cramped situation Dufftown Distillery’s six stills produce around six million litres of alcohol per year making it a top ten Scottish malt distillery in terms of output. Very little emerges as single malt since most flows into Bell’s blends. Dufftown Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Inviting, malt filled nose with brown bread, barley sugar and spice. Firm entry into the mouth slow flow across the palate where flavours are laid down layer by layer. Great oak support with vanilla and cinnamon leading into finish where malt again plays a defining role.
