Specially bottled for Historic Scotland to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Union of the Crowns 1603-2003.
The Union of the Crowns refers to the accession of James VI, King of Scots, to the throne of England in March 1603, thus uniting Scotland and England under one monarch.
Dallas Dhu Distillery was established by Alexander Edward in 1898 and designed by Charles C. Doug. Dallas Dhu is situated near Dallas in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region but closed as a working malt whisky distillery in 1983. Now in the care of Historic Scotland and re-opened as a distillery museum where visitors are welcomed and distillery tours are available. Dallas Dhu has retained most of its original equipment including two round wooden worm tubs and is a participant in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
