Rarely seen as a single malt bottling Dailuaine is one of the many hard-working distilleries which quietly provide fillings for blends however we are delighted to bottle this Speysider as a UK exclusive. Distilled into a single bourbon barrel number 9465 on 30th of July and matured for 24 years before being bottled at cask strength of 59.8% on 2nd of May 2022. Producing only 93 bottles you will not be disappointed with juicy pineapple and honeyed cereal with a sweet lingering finish.

The Distillery

Dailuaine Distillery, founded in 1851 by William Mackenzie at Carron in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region, gained historical significance in 1889 when Charles C. Doig was commissioned to design a revolutionary pagoda roof for its malt kiln—the first of its kind, now a symbol of traditional malt whisky distilleries worldwide. Although Doig’s original design was destroyed in a 1917 fire, Dailuaine continues to produce distinctive single malt Scotch whisky, offering both a 16 Year Old expression and special releases, alongside an array of independent bottlings that remain popular with whisky enthusiasts seeking a taste of Speyside heritage.
