Distilled in 2015 and matured in a Recoopered American Oak Barrique (#309560), this limited-edition release was bottled in 2025 at natural cask strength 57.9% ABV, yielding just 262 bottles. The American oak influence enhances Dailuaine’s naturally rich and meaty spirit with layers of sweetness, spice, and depth.

Dailuaine Distillery, founded in 1851 by William Mackenzie at Carron in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region, gained historical significance in 1889 when Charles C. Doig was commissioned to design a revolutionary pagoda roof for its malt kiln—the first of its kind, now a symbol of traditional malt whisky distilleries worldwide. Although Doig’s original design was destroyed in a 1917 fire, Dailuaine continues to produce distinctive single malt Scotch whisky, offering both a 16 Year Old expression and special releases, alongside an array of independent bottlings that remain popular with whisky enthusiasts seeking a taste of Speyside heritage.
