Tasting Notes

Nose: Abundant raisin loaf and dark honey drift above fresh barley, with hints of orange peel, polished oak and a soft farmyard breeze. The Distillery

Daftmill
Daftmill Distillery, established in 2003 by Francis and Ian Cuthbert just outside the historic market town of Cupar in Fife, is one of Scotland’s smallest single malt Scotch distilleries, producing around 20,000 litres of alcohol annually. The first spirit ran from its stills on December 16, 2005, and after years of patient maturation and growing anticipation among whisky enthusiasts, Daftmill unveiled its inaugural release in 2018. Renowned for its handcrafted approach and meticulous attention to quality, this low-volume distillery continues to captivate connoisseurs eager to experience the distinctive character and terroir-driven profile of Daftmill’s artisan single malts.
