Craigellachie Distillery is situated in Craigellachie village in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. Craigellachie was designed by Charles C. Doig and established by Alexander Edward and Peter Mackie in 1888. Craigellachie is a malt whisky distillery and one of the few Scottish distilleries which continue to cool their new spirit in traditional worm tubs. Most of the whisky is matured elsewhere and flows into White Horse and Dewar’s blends of scotch.
Nose. Sweet vanilla with sultanas, raisins and butterscotch.
Palate. Smooth and sweet, with Christmas pudding and vanilla custard.
