Rare official bottling of the fragrant and malty Speyside whisky.
Craigellachie Distillery is situated in Craigellachie village in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. Craigellachie was designed by Charles C. Doig and established by Alexander Edward and Peter Mackie in 1888. Craigellachie is a malt whisky distillery and one of the few Scottish distilleries which continue to cool their new spirit in traditional worm tubs. Most of the whisky is matured elsewhere and flows into White Horse and Dewar’s blends of scotch.
Delicate smoke emerges with buttered toast aromas. There is some fruit skin sweetness edged with biscuit notes. The palate is full and rounded giving bursts of succulence. A nutty, dry, malty finish completes the experience.
