Experience the quintessential Speyside boldness with this Craigellachie 10 Year Old 2014, part of the coveted Signatory 100-Proof Edition #39. Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025, this limited release brings together the robust Craigellachie spirit with the decadence of 1st Fill Pedro Ximinez Sherry Hogsheads and the nuanced warmth of 2nd Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts. The result is a richly layered single malt boasting both sweet and savory depths—a perfect match for Craigellachie’s famed muscular character.
Bottled at a punchy 100 Proof (50% ABV), this whisky is brimming with complexity. The PX cask influence introduces dark fruit sweetness and syrupy richness, while the Oloroso butts impart nutty undertones and subtle spice.
Why We Think You’ll Love It:
- Showcases Craigellachie’s characteristic strength and rich, meaty spirit
- Dual sherry cask maturation marries sweet dried fruit notes with layers of complexity
- Bottled at 100 Proof, amplifying its natural flavour intensity and offering a captivating Speyside experience.

The Distillery
Craigellachie
Craigellachie Distillery, founded by Alexander Edward and Peter Mackie in 1888 and opened in 1891, anchors the Speyside whisky village that shares its name. Designed by celebrated architect Charles C. Doig, it remains one of the few malt whisky distilleries in Scotland to cool its spirit using traditional worm tubs, contributing to the distinctive, full-bodied profile of its single malts. While the majority of Craigellachie’s output supports famous blends like White Horse and Dewar’s, discerning whisky enthusiasts can discover independent bottlings that showcase the distillery’s unique heritage and architectural significance within the Speyside region.
