Cooley (Ireland)
Cooley Distillery was established on the Cooley Peninsular in County Louth in 1987 by John Teeling. Water from the Cooley Mountains is used to produce grain whisky from two column stills in one still house and malt whisky using two copper stills and a double distillation process in a second still house. Cooley Distillery produces both peated and unpeated malt whisky.
Smooth sweet taste that combines artfully with its complex malt and peat flavours. The sweetness and spiciness of Sherry interact beautifully with the malt and peat flavours resulting in a remarkably well balanced masterpiece.
