Chichibu London Edition 2018

Chichibu Distillery, founded in 2007 by Ichiro Akuto, nestles in the foothills of the Chichibu Mountains northwest of Chichibu City, Japan. Renowned for its dedication to Japanese whisky craftsmanship, the distillery stands out by malting some Japanese barley on-site and using Japanese oak washbacks in the fermentation process. Two small stillscomplete the setup, producing refined, characterful spirits that capture the essence of Chichibu’s climate and terroir—securing Chichibu Distillery’s reputation for innovation and quality among whisky enthusiasts worldwide.
