TWB Tasting Notes:- Nose: The aroma opens with a bracing sea breeze, complemented by hints of peat smoke and rich dried fruits. The influence of the sherry cask brings forward notes of sweet raisins and subtle spices, creating a complex and inviting introduction. Palate: On the palate, this whisky delivers a robust and smoky flavor profile typical of Islay malts. Layers of peat smoke intertwine with dark chocolate, stewed fruits, and a touch of nuttiness. The sherry cask adds depth with elements of oak, cinnamon, and a slight nutmeg warmth, enhancing the malt's earthy undertones. Finish: The finish is long and lingering, with the smoky intensity gradually giving way to a dry, spicy residue. Notes of leather and old wood emerge, leaving a memorable aftertaste that echoes the unique character of Islay whiskies.
