TWB Tasting Notes:
On the nose, delicate aromas of smoky peat intertwine with notes of ripe red berries and a hint of sea salt. The palate reveals a harmonious blend of sweet malt, dark chocolate, and subtle red wine tannins, complemented by undertones of orchard fruits and gentle spice. The finish is long and satisfying, featuring lingering peat smoke, warm oak, and a touch of dried fruits.
The maturation in an ex-red wine hogshead enriches the whisky with additional layers of flavor, enhancing its depth and character. Bottled at natural cask strength and free from chill filtration and artificial coloring, this expression captures the true essence of Caol Ila's spirit. Each bottle from cask #WB002 is individually numbered, ensuring its uniqueness and collectible value.
