TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: The aroma opens with fresh sea breeze notes, accompanied by a gentle waft of peat smoke. Subtle hints of lemon zest and green apples add a vibrant freshness, while underlying tones of vanilla and barley provide a delicate sweetness.
Palate: On the palate, this whisky reveals a beautifully balanced profile. The initial wave of soft, creamy vanilla is seamlessly followed by layers of light peat smoke and a touch of sea salt. Crisp orchard fruits, particularly green apples and pears, intermingle with a hint of citrus zest, enhancing the overall complexity.
Finish: The finish is long and elegant, with the peat smoke gradually fading to reveal lingering notes of sweet malt and a touch of minerality. A subtle spiciness, reminiscent of white pepper, leaves a warm, satisfying aftertaste.
