TWB Tasting Notes:-
On the nose, this whisky presents a rich and inviting aroma of honeyed sweetness and ripe orchard fruits. Apricot, golden raisins, and baked apples combine with a delicate floral undertone, reminiscent of wildflowers. Hints of vanilla and oak emerge, along with a subtle touch of almond and marzipan.
The palate is luxuriously smooth and complex, delivering layers of sweet wine influences from the Monbazillac cask. Flavors of honeycomb, dried apricots, and sultanas are balanced with creamy vanilla custard. A gentle spice from the oak adds warmth, while traces of citrus zest and nutty toffee keep the experience vibrant and engaging.
The finish is long and silky, leaving behind lingering sweetness from the dessert wine cask. Honeyed fruits, soft spices, and a hint of oak tannins offer a perfectly balanced, refined aftertaste that invites you to savor each sip. This 11-year-old Bruichladdich embodies the distillery’s signature elegance with a unique richness imparted by the Monbazillac cask.
