Blended Scotch Rock Oyster

Rock Oyster vatted malt Scotch whisky. Inspired by the sea, this specialist bottling is created using the finest maritime Malts including those distilled on the Islands of Islay, Jura, Arran and Orkney. Selected and bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Blended Malt is a mixture of two or more Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which have been distilled at more than one distillery. Because Scotland’s whisky blenders are able to standardise the colour, strength and taste in their blends their customers are assured of consistency in a product which may be marketed over a number of years. Formally known as a Vatted Malt. Nose: Wave soaked rocks and a salty oceanic, fresh influence. Palate: Subtle –carrying soft and rather sweet peat paralleled with smoke, honey, damp ash, liquorice and late pepper. Finish: All of what went before is neatly replicated on the long, more-ishfinish.
