Blended Scotch Highland Journey

Highland Journey blended malt Scotch whisky. Created from malt whiskies distilled only in the Highlands, inspired by founder Stewart Laing’s early visits to distilleries in the 1950’s. Matured in American oak and Spanish sherry casks. Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Blended Malt is a mixture of two or more Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which have been distilled at more than one distillery. Because Scotland’s whisky blenders are able to standardise the colour, strength and taste in their blends their customers are assured of consistency in a product which may be marketed over a number of years. Formally known as a Vatted Malt. The balance of smoothness and complexity of flavour and aroma comes from blending whiskies some of which have been matured in American oak casks and some in Spanish sherry casks.
