Tasting Notes
This burnished golden coloured whisky is mellow bodied, sweet on the nose, with vanilla ice cream strawberries. It is smooth sweet on the palate with, again, vanilla notes to the fore followed by red berries and a hint of sultanas leading to a long satisfying sweet finish.
45 Year Old 1973 vintage blended Scotch whisky. Single cask bourbon hogshead #15894 distilled December 1973 and bottled March 2019 by Hunter Laing & Co. for the Sovereign series. Selected and bottled exclusively for The Whisky Barrel. 300 numbered bottles.
