Taketsuru 17 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt (Pure Malt) whisky named after the founder of Nikka, Masataka Taketsuru.
Japanese Blended
Contains whisky from different casks and from different years, and importantly, from a number of different Japanese distilleries. Blended Japanese whisky may contain a proportion of grain whiskies.
The strength of this whisky lies in the way the subtle aroma of peat builds up over time," says world-renowned British whisky critic Jim Murray in appreciation of Taketsuru 17 Years Old. Its mellow, well-rounded nose and palate are sure to please.
