TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: A rich and sophisticated aroma with layers of dried fruits like raisins, figs, and dates, intertwined with notes of dark chocolate, rich toffee, and a hint of espresso. Subtle undertones of sweet spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, along with a touch of leather and polished oak, add depth and complexity.
Palate: Luxurious and full-bodied, offering a harmonious blend of sherry-induced sweetness and complex malt. The palate is greeted with flavors of dried apricots, sultanas, and black cherries, complemented by luscious caramel, treacle, and a hint of molasses. Spicy undertones of clove, black pepper, and a touch of anise enhance the complexity, while the oak influence provides a refined structure and creamy mouthfeel.
Finish: Exceptionally long and warming, with a lingering sweetness and spice. The finish showcases notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit compote, and a gentle, lingering oakiness, leaving a satisfying and elegant aftertaste.
