Ben Nevis Distillery is an iconic Highland malt whisky producer established by John McDonald in 1825 at Inverlochy, just north of Fort William, and situated at the foot of Ben Nevis—Scotland’s highest mountain. Renowned for its rich heritage, the distillery installed a Coffey Still in 1955, enabling simultaneous production of malt and grain whiskies until 1981.
