Ben Nevis 15 Year Old Homecoming 2009

Special limited edition bottling for the year of Homecoming. Ben Nevis Ben Nevis Distillery is a Highland distillery situated at Inverlochy just north of Fort William on the west coast of Scotland and rests at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain. Ben Nevis Distillery was established by John McDonald in 1825 and in order to meet the demand for fine Ben Nevis Highland malt whisky the Nevis Distillery was established in 1878. Nevis Distillery closed in 1908. A Coffey’s Still was installed in Ben Nevis Distillery in 1955 and both malt and grain whiskies were produced simultaneously until 1981. Ben Nevis Distillery welcomes visitors at the distillery visitor centre and offers tours of the distillery.  No tasting notes at present.
