The Balvenie Single Barrel is a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation.
Each bottling forms a limited edition of no more than 350 hand-numbered bottles - so each bottle is unique and unrepeatable.
Balvenie
William Grant converted the ruins of Balvenie House into Balvenie malt whisky distillery in 1892 in order to meet the global demand for William Grant’s Scottish Speyside malt whisky and blended scotch. Balvenie Distillery is situated near Balvenie Castle and the River Fiddich in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region and is one of the few Scottish distilleries to malt barley on its own malt floors and to dry its malted barley over a peat fire in its own malt kiln. Visitors can enjoy an in-depth Balvenie scotch whisky experience and distillery tour. Balvenie Distillery is also a participant in the popular Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Fragrant aroma of vanilla, honeyed sweetness, hints of heather and dry oaky notes. The taste is rich and complex, suggestive of years of careful ageing, it has a honeyed maltiness with vanilla, oak flavours and delicate spice notes.
