Tasting Notes

Nose: Plush raisin fudge, honeyed apple and orange zest drift over vanilla tablet, polished oak and a hint of cinnamon. Palate: Silky bursts of treacle toffee, sweet malt and fig jam coat the tongue, followed by clove-spiked chocolate, roasted hazelnut and a bright lift of candied citrus. Finish: Medium-long, warming and gently dry—lingering PX-soaked fruitcake, soft oak spice and a final flourish of vanilla-malt sweetness.

Uncover Speyside elegance wrapped in luscious sherry with Aultmore 10 Year Old – 2014 Vintage, Alistair Walker “Infrequent Flyers” (Cask #6209). Distilled at the Foggie Moss distillery and matured its full decade in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, this small-batch release was bottled at natural cask strength in March 2025. Non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, only 350 bottles capture Aultmore’s fragrant orchard fruit cloaked in waves of dark berries, toffee and warm spice—another high-flying rarity from the Infrequent Flyers series.

Why We Think You’ll Love It

  • Single PX hogshead maturation saturates Aultmore’s floral-fruit core with decadent dried-fruit richness and sweet spice.

  • Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural colour—preserving full body, aroma and authenticity.

  • 10 years deliver an energetic yet indulgent Speyside dram—perfect neat or with a splash of water.

  • Part of Alistair Walker’s sought-after “Infrequent Flyers” series—strictly 350 bottles, ideal for collectors and sherried-malt aficionados.

Pour a dram of this rare Aultmore and savour an irresistible marriage of honeyed orchard fruit, opulent PX depth and Speyside finesse—an unforgettable whisky that lingers long after the final sip.

The Distillery

Aultmore
Founded in 1895, Aultmore Distillery swiftly established itself as a key player in Scotland’s prestigious Speyside whisky region. Just two years after its inception, the distillery’s two copper stills were fired up, beginning the production of exceptional single malt Scotch whisky. Visionary founder Alexander Edward strategically selected a prime location between Keith and Buckie, taking advantage of the fertile arable farmland and the abundant, pure water sourced from the Foggie Burn. The distillery's proximity to Aultmore Station, which opened in 1884 on the Keith to Portessie section of the Highland Railway, facilitated efficient transportation and distribution of its premium whiskies. Today, Aultmore Distillery continues to honor its rich heritage by producing distinguished Speyside single malts renowned for their elegance and complexity, making it a favorite among whisky enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
