Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich raisin syrup, baked apple and orange marmalade rise from the glass, entwined with treacle toffee, polished oak and a hint of cinnamon. Palate: Silky waves of fig jam, chocolate fudge and sweet malt glide across the tongue, followed by clove‑spiced praline, roasted hazelnut and a bright lift of candied citrus. Finish: Long, warming and gently drying—lingering sherry‑soaked fruitcake, mellow oak tannin and a final flourish of vanilla‑malt sweetness.
Bathe in Speyside decadence with Aberlour 10 Year Old – 2014 Vintage, James Eadie Single Cask. Distilled on the banks of the River Spey and nurtured in a 1st‑fill Oloroso sherry hogshead (#378484), this whisky was bottled in 2025 at natural cask strength. Only 362 individually numbered bottles were released, each un‑chill‑filtered and natural in colour. The fresh Spanish oak drenches Aberlour’s orchard‑fruit core in luxurious layers of dark fruit, toffee and warming spice—showcasing the distillery’s renowned sherry style in its purest, most powerful form.

Why We Think You’ll Love It

  • Matured in a 1st‑fill Oloroso hogshead, saturating Aberlour’s fruity spirit with opulent dried‑fruit depth and chocolate richness.

  • 10 years of ageing balance youthful vibrancy with decadent sherry complexity.

  • Bottled at natural cask strength (non‑chill‑filtered, natural colour) for undiluted texture, aroma and intensity.

  • Strictly limited to 362 bottles, making it a prized treasure for collectors and sherried‑malt aficionados seeking a bold, modern Speyside dram.

Savour this small‑batch Aberlour for a captivating union of honeyed orchard fruit, dark‑fruit opulence and warming spice—an unforgettable dram from first nosing to lingering finish.

The Distillery

Aberlour
Founded in 1826, Aberlour Distillery is nestled in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region, at the northern edge of Ben Rinnes. This elevated location ensures a plentiful supply of soft, peaty spring water, crucial to Aberlour’s distinct character. With four copper stills in operation, around half of the spirit goes into crafting Aberlour’s single malt whiskies—notably the popular Aberlour A’bunadh, a batch-release single malt aged exclusively in ex-sherry casks. Offering distillery tours and playing a key role in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, Aberlour continues to captivate whisky enthusiasts worldwide with its rich heritage, superb quality, and unmistakable Speyside flavor.
