The Littlemill 26 Year Old 1988 is an extraordinary Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from the long-lost and highly revered Littlemill Distillery, Scotland’s oldest licensed distillery. Distilled in November 1988 and matured for over a quarter of a century in a single refill sherry hogshead, this exceptional cask was bottled in March 2015 by Hunter Laing & Co. for their prestigious Old & Rare Platinum Selection. This release was selected and bottled exclusively for The Whisky Barrel, with only 150 individually numbered bottles, making it one of the rarest and most desirable Littlemill expressions ever released.

Flavour Layers
Nose Elegant notes of ripe orchard fruits, honeycomb, citrus oils, and soft sherry richness, with hints of polished oak and herbs.
Palate Silky and complex, offering flavours of apricot, vanilla fudge, toasted almonds, dried fruits, and gentle spice, supported by Littlemill’s signature floral softness.
Finish Long and graceful, with lingering sweetness, refined oak, citrus peel, and delicate sherry warmth.
