The Distillery

1927년 글래스고의 클라이드 강변 모팻 거리에 설립된 스트래스클라이드 증류소는 유서 깊은 로우랜드 곡물 위스키 증류소입니다. 곡물 위스키 생산을 위한 코피 연속식 증류기 2대와 중성 주정 생산을 위한 코피 증류기 5대를 갖추고 있어 스카치 위스키 블렌딩에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 증류소는 글래스고 북쪽 언덕에 자리한 카트린 호수에서 물을 공급받습니다. 1957년에는 킨클레이스 몰트 증류소가 추가되었지만 1975년에 폐쇄되었고 1976년에 해체되면서 스트래스클라이드는 스코틀랜드 위스키 역사의 중요한 한 부분으로 자리매김하게 되었습니다.
