Laphroaig Triple Wood Islay single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in 3 types of cask. Initially in bourbon barrels before being transferred into small 19th century style Quarter Casks for a second maturation. The finally maturation is in Oloroso sherry casks.

Laphroaig Distillery was established in 1815 on the rocky south coast of the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland. Laphroaig is a malt whisky distillery which continues to malt barley using its traditional malting floors and malt kiln. In 1994 Laphroaig was awarded the Royal Warrant. Visitors are welcomed at the Laphroaig Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available. Laphroaig Distillery participates in Feis Ile, the Islay Festival of Malt and Music.
This triple cask maturation results in what we think is the perfect marriage of peat, oak and sherry notes, retaining the traditional Laphroaig peat smoke aroma, balanced by the subtle sherry sweetness and hints of sea salt.
