처음 맛봤을 때는 은은한 단맛과 벨벳 같은 느낌이 듭니다. 여운은 매우 길며, 나무에서 오는 단맛과 전형적인 페놀성 피트 향이 번갈아 나타납니다.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask Islay single malt Scotch whisky takes its inspiration from the small casks often used for Scotch Whisky maturation in the 19th century. Double cask matured, first in oak barrels, then for a final period in specially commissioned Quarter Casks, as used two centuries ago. The result is a soft velvety sweetness, followed by intense peatiness so unique to Laphroaig.
