스코틀랜드 서해안의 주라 섬에 위치한 크레이그하우스에 자리한 주라 증류소는 1810년에 처음 문을 열었지만 1901년에 폐쇄되었습니다. 건축가 윌리엄 델메 에반스의 설계로 현대적인 시설을 갖춘 증류소는 1963년에 4개의 증류기를 갖추고 재개장했습니다. 주로 피트를 첨가하지 않은 싱글 몰트 위스키를 생산하지만, 매년 한정판 피트 위스키도 선보입니다. 아일레이 몰트 음악 축제인 페이스 일레에 적극적으로 참여하는 주라 증류소는 주라 슈퍼스티션, 주라 프로페시, 주라 21년산 등 주목할 만한 제품들을 제공합니다. 스코틀랜드 위스키 업계의 주요 업체로서 주라 증류소는 전 세계 위스키 애호가들을 계속해서 매료시키고 있습니다.
