Invergordon 36 Year Old Bladnoch Forum

Single cask #95390. Distilled November 1972, bottled April 2009. 184 individually numbered bottles. Invergordon Invergordon Distillery was established by Invergordon Distillers Ltd in 1959  at Invergordon on the Cromarty Firth in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Invergordon opened in 1961 and supports The Invergordon Distillery Pipe Band. A single Coffey Still was increased to three in 1963 and an additional and much larger column still was introduced in 1978 in order to produce neutral spirit. Ben Wyvis malt distillery was built in its grounds in 1965 although it closed in 1976 and was demolished in 1977. A creamy smooth whisky and a great dram. It has a smoothness and complexity that reflects its age.
