Distilled in the final year of production at the legendary Cambus Distillery, this remarkable whisky matured in a single first fill Oloroso sherry butt (#1046) sourced from Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla in the historic heart of Jerez, Spain. Bottled in May 2026 at its natural cask strength of 47.0% ABV, this release yielded just 438 bottles worldwide.

Founded in 1806, Cambus was one of Scotland’s pioneering grain distilleries and played a crucial role in the rise of blended Scotch whisky before its permanent closure in 1993. Today, mature Cambus whiskies are highly sought after for their silky texture, elegant sweetness, and increasing rarity. Long maturation in active Oloroso sherry wood has created a whisky rich in dark fruits, polished oak, caramelised sweetness, and warming spice while retaining the beautifully smooth character that defines old grain whisky.
