Scallywag Speyside vatted malt Scotch whisky. Small batch bottling created using only the finest Speyside Malts including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes. Matured in Spanish sherry butts. Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Blended Malt is a mixture of two or more Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which have been distilled at more than one distillery. Because Scotland’s whisky blenders are able to standardise the colour, strength and taste in their blends their customers are assured of consistency in a product which may be marketed over a number of years. Formally known as a Vatted Malt. Nose: Sweetly spiced character woven into delicious vanilla. Palate: Detect layer on layer of sweet stewed fruit, Christmas pudding and dark chocolate fused with spice (nutmeg & cinnamon). Finish: Displays a burst of zesty orange with sweet tobacco, cocoa & rich fruit cake.
