New 2010 release, the fifth batch of the excellent Speyside blended malt crafted by Doug McIvor & Co at Berry Bros.

Just like it's predecessors in that a wide range of ages has been used. A much more limited release this time with fewer than 1,000 bottles.

Berry Brothers & Rudd: Blue Hanger

Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop for over 300 years. Berrys first supplied wine to the British Royal Family during the reign of King George III and has continued to do so to the present day.

The palate is beautifully round, offering coffee and chocolate flavours to support the long, fruity thrust of well-aged Speyside whisky. Layer upon layer of complexity evolve, making the finish hugely rewarding and almost endlessly fascinating.
